Quilted Flowers, Big Shot Flower Fold

More flowers....but made a little different this time.

I used the flower fold SU! exclusive die. You can purchase the die from my website,

http://www.christiedaugherty.stampinup.net/ , #115970 $42.95. Run your fabric and batting through at the same time. You need 2 pieces of fabric and one piece of batting. I spray the 3 pieces with an adhesive spray so they don't move while cutting and sewing.

I LOVE our CRAFT/ribbon scissors. I use them ONLY for ribbon and fabric. #108360 $29.95....worth every penny!

By the way, have I told you how much I love our striped grosgrain ribbon? So cute! It comes in four colors with 10 yds on each roll for $8.95

-pumpkin pie #115616
-chocolate chip #115617 (must have!)
-old olive #115618
-basic black #115615 (must have!)

You don't have to sew it but I like the look and I just learned how to sew.

Now that the flower is finished....add it to just about anything!

Add it to a bag....

Wrap it around a candle....

Tie it around a photo album...
Wrap it around a tile...

Tie it around a glass jar....

Wrap it around a giftbox.... Embellish a piece of wall art...

Tie it around a basket....

I bet you have more ideas....leave comments!

Just beautiful. Love your quilted flowers. How did you make the holes in the center of each flower to run the knotted ribbon through? Thanks for sharing. charwood@earthlink.net

Love the sewn flowers, but I think I'd sew my fingers together trying to do those little bittle flower petals!
